Dear prospective participants,
We hope this mail finds you well notwithstanding the confusing caprices of Lockdown.02.
We have been invited to realize a sound poetry project as part of the neighbourhood project VIS-à-VIS of Le Brass, in which we emphatically seek connections with the the inhabitants around the area of Wiels and Avenue Wielemans-Ceuppens between february and May. Do you live there too? In the links below you find a more precise demarcation of the area :
We like to create sound poetry together with you or other people you may know in the area. All languages and ages are possible. The beauty of sound poetry is that it can dwell on the borders of languages and you can even invent your own languages. We find inspiration in the streets and in our lives (streetnames, car license plates, names on doorbells, etc), but also in nursery rhymes, expressions and idioms, tongue twisters, donkey bridges. Most of all we work with the pleasure of discovering the sounds in our mouths and with our ears.
Would this interest you or do you know somebody who might find this invitation interesting? It could be anyone: a teenager, a parent with a child, a neighbour, someone you know through the school, boxing club, etc. We like to reach people beyond the well trodden paths or target groups.
More information is included. But know this. Anyone can do it! We work safe and with respect. We work in duos in Le Brass or close by (or online if you prefer). Send us a couple of lines about yourself. We will get back to you and start with an online meeting to discuss the further proceedings.
